Woolsey was director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 1993 until 1995
under President Bill Clinton and served in four administrations, both
Democratic and Republican. And he describes climate change as an “important
part of national security.”
Prior to
his involvement with the Central Intelligence Agency, Woolsey served as
President Jimmy Carter’s undersecretary of the Navy. Woolsey also worked as
Ambassador to the Negotiation on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe
and General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services.
